(1) The Government shall, by notification and with effect from such date, as may be specified in the notification, establish, for the purposes of this Act, a Pradhikaran to be known as the Haryana Kisan Kalyan Pradhikaran with headquarter at such place, as the Government may, specify. (2) The Pradhikaran shall be a body corporate by the name aforesaid, having perpetual succession and a common seal, with power, subject to provisions of this Act, to acquire, hold and dispose of property, both movable and immovable and to contract and shall, by the said name, sue and be sued.
