(1) This Act may be called the Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 2022. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Haryana. (3) It shall be applicable to all such convicted prisoners who have been confined by the orders of Courts having jurisdiction in Haryana. (4) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf. Short title, extent application and commencement.
