In fire fighting operations or any other duties related to seizure, detention or removal of any goods involving risk of fire on the request of the officer-in-charge of the fire fighting operation, it shall be the duty of a police officer or employees of the police force to assist and aid the officer-in- charge of the fire fighting operation in performance of such duties.
