(1) Any person aggrieved by any notice or order of the Director or any other officer authorised by him in this behalf may prefer an appeal against such notice or order to the appellate authority within a period of sixty days: Provided that the appellate authority may entertain an appeal after the expiry of the such period if it is satisfied that there was sufficient cause for not filing it within that period.
