Employees etc. to be public servants :- Any employee of a co-operative society discharging duties under the provisions of this Act or the rules made thereunder or any person appointed as liquidator or arbitrator shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (45 of 1860).
