The State Council shall perform the following functions, namely:– (a) compiling and updating the register; (b) hearing complaints; (c) determine within a period of two years from its constitution, the standards to be maintained by the clinical establishments and supervise their implementation; (d) collect the statistics in respect of clinical establishments; (e) lay down guidelines, procedures and functions for the State Authority for Clinical Establishments and the District Authority for Clinical Establishment; (f) lay down guidelines, standards, procedures etc. for different diseases under different recognised systems of medicines; and (g) any other function, as determined by the State Government, from time to time. 2014 : Hr.
