(1) The Academic Planning Board shall consist of- (a) Vice-Chancellor; (b) Not more than seven persons of high standing in education who shall be appointed by the Chancellor on the recommendations of the Vice-Chancellor for a term of two years; (c) The Registrar shall be the Secretary to the Board. (2) The recommendations of the Board shall be implemented after they are approved by appropriate authorities of the University. (3) It shall advise on the planning and development of the University particularly in respect of the standards of educations and research in the University. + Amended vide resolution no. 22nd meeting of the Executive Council held on 30.03.2007.
