(1) Each Faculty shall consist of - Constitutions of Faculties. (i) Dean of Faculty- (Chairperson); (ii) Chairman of the Departments included in that Faculty; (iii) One Professor from each Department on the basis of seniority by rotation; (iv) One Reader and one Lecturer appointed or recognized by the University in the Departments included in the Faculty by rotation according to seniority; (v) Two Principals of Colleges/Institutes admitted to the privileges of the University on the basis of seniority by rotation. ` (2) Members nominated shall hold office for two years: Provided that the Executive Council, at the request of the Academic Council, may increase the number of members of a Faculty. **(3) Branch In-charge of the Academic Branch not below the rank of Assistant Registrar may act as Secretary of the Faculties. (4) Two-fifths of the members in each Faculty shall form the quorum.
