First-aid boxes:-The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work that— (a) sufficient number of first-aid boxes or cupboards are provided and maintained for providing first-aid to the building workers; (b) every first-aid box or cupboard is distinctly marked ―First-Aid‖ and is equipped with the articles specified in Schedule III annexed to these rules; (c) nothing except appliances or requisites for first-aid is kept in a first-aid box or cupboard and such box or cupboard is so kept as to protect it against contamination by dust or other foreign matter and against penetration of moisture and such box or cupboard is kept in the charge of a person trained in first-aid and is always readily available during working hours.
