Lift for shaft:-The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work that lift is provided for transport of building Rule 141 The Building and Other Construction Workers‘ (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Central Rules, 1998 67 workers and materials or articles at an excavation or tunnelling work required to descend more than fifty metres in a shaft.
