Notwithstanding anything contained in these Statutes or the Ordinances of the University, no person, who has been convicted of any offence involving moral turpitude or has been dismissed for misconduct from a Government or Semi-Government institution or from a University or an educational institution of any kind, shall be eligible to become, or to continue as a member of any authority of the University or of any committee appointed by the University. A person under suspension shall not be allowed to sit in any meeting of the above authorities or committees during the period of her suspension.
