(1) The Academic planning Board shall consist of – (a) the Vice- Chancellor; (b) not more than seven parsons of high standing on education who shall be appointed by the Chancellor on the recommendations of the Vice- Chancellor for a term of two years; (c) the Registrar who shall be the Secretary to the Board. (2) The recommendations of the Board shall be implemented after they are approved by appropriate authorities of the University . (3) It shall advise on the planning and development of the University particularly in respect of the standards of education and research in the University.
