The Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets [Punjab Act] Act, 1961 Short title extent and commencement Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in the Twelfth Year of the Republic of India as follows :- 1[(1)] This Act may the called the Punjab Agricultural Produce markets Act, 1961. 1[(2)] It extends to the State of Punjab & Haryana, the territories transferred to the Union Territory of Himachal Pradesh under section 5 of the Punjab Reorganisation Act, 1966 (31 of 1966) and the Union Territory of Chandigarh.]
