Notwithstanding anything contained in section 14 no person, whose name has been removed, whether before or after the coming into force of this Act, from any register kept under- (i) the Bombay Veterinary Practitioners Act, 1953 as in force in the Bombay area of the State; or (ii) any other law for the time being in force in India or any part thereof regulating the registration of veterinary practitioners, for commission of any offence or infamous conduct in a professional respect shall be entitled to have his name entered in the register, unless the Council, on sufficient cause being shown, directs his name to be entered therein on such conditions and on payment of such fees as may be prescribed by regulations.
