(I) The Finance Committee shall consi~st of the following members, namely :- (i) (ii) (iii) (iv) the Vice-Chancellor, who shall be the Chai~rman; the Secretary to the Government of Gujarat, Finance Department, ex-ocio or his representative not below the rank of the Deputy Secretary, Finance department; one member of the Board of Governors, to be nominated by the Board of Governors; one expert in the field of finance, to be nominated by the Board of Governors; (2) The Finance and Accounts Officer shall be the Secretary of the Finance Committee. (3) The term of office of the members other than the ex-ocio members shall be three years. (4) Any nominated member may resign from his office by writing under his hand addressed to the Vice-Chancellor and his resignation shall take effect from such date as it is accepted by the Vice- Chancellor.
