Notwithstanding anything contained in section 70, a town planning scheme may at any time be varied by a subsequent scheme made, published and sanctioned in accordance with the provisions of this Act. Amendment of regulations. 72. (a) If at any time after the final town planning scheme comes into force, the appropriate authority is of the opinion that the regulations relating to a town planning scheme require to be amended, it may publish the requisite draft amendment in the prescribed manner and invite suggestions or objections thereto from any person ;
