(1) The Academic Council of the University shall consist of the following members, namely:- (i) the Vice-Chancellor, who shall be the Chairman of the Academic Council; (ii) two academicians or professionals, to be nominated by the Board; (iii) two academicians or professionals in the fields of science, engineering, technology or management to be nominated by the Board; (iv) two Directors, by rotation, to be nominated by the Vice- Chancellor; (v) two Deans, by rotation, to be nominated by the Vice- Chancellor; and Term of office and vacancies among members of Board. (3) The term of office of the members shall be three years.
