(1) The provisions of the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976, shall mutatis mutandis, apply with respect to the Development Plans and to the Town Planning Schemes made under this Act. President’s Act No. 27 of 1976. (2) The power exercisable by the State Government for sanctioning of Development Plans and Town Planning Schemes under the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976 shall be exercisable by the Apex Authority. President’s Act No. 27 of 1976. (3) The Regional Development Authority shall be “Appropriate Authority” for the area comprising of Special Investment Region for the purposes of Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976 as so applied to this Act.
