Power to make rules. The Gujarat Shops and Establishments (Employees Life Insurance) Act, 1980 1980 :Guj . 32 ] 10 of 11 (2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the fore- going power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely :- (a) the other matters relating or incidental to the scheme under clause (f) of sub-section (2) of section 3; (b) the returns to be submitted under sub-section (1) of section 7, the authority to which, and the form in which such returns shall be submitted, and particulars relating to the persons employed by an employer or to an establishment in respect of which he is an employer to be specified in such form : (c) the registers or records to be maintained by an employer under sub-section (2) of section 7; (d) the other powers to be exercised by an Inspector under clause (6) of sub-section (2) of section 8; (e) any other matter which is to be, or may be prescribed. (3) The power to make rules conferred by this section shall be subject to the condition of the rules being made after previous publication. (4) All rules made under this section shall be laid for not less than thirty days before the State Legislature as soon as possible after they are made and shall be subject to rescission by the State Legislature or to such modifications as the State Legislature may make during the session in which they are so laid or the session immediately following. (5) Any rescission or modification so made by the State Legislature shall be published in the Official Gazette, and shall thereupon take effect.
