In section 407,- (i) in sub-section (1),- (a) the word “ sub-division ” shall be deleted ; (b) for the words “ District Magistrate ”, the words “ Court of Sessions ” shall be substituted ; (ii) in sub-section (2),- (a) for the words “ District Magistrate ” wherever they occur, the words “ Sessions Judge ” shall be substituted ; (b) after the words “ State Government ”, the words “ in consultation with the High Court ” shall be inserted.
