All applications pending for issuance of Caste Certificate or validity certificate prior to coming into force of this Act shall stand transferred to the Competent Authority or, as the case may be, the Scrutiny Committee on the coming into force of this Act: Provided that the State Government may,direct, by Order published in the Ocial Gazette, that authorities to whom the applications for issuance of Caste Certificate or the validity certificate were to be made prior to the date of coming into force of the Act lied, shall continue to function for such time as may be specified in the Order.
