The dwelling houses included in the occupancy holding shall vest in the occupant provided that if such a dwelling house or part of it had been built otherwise than at the expense of the tenant or his predecessor-in-title, it shall vest in the occupant free from all encumbrances, if any, made by the Girasdar on payment of such compensation to the Girasdar as may be determined, by the Mamlatdar in this behalf in accordance with the principles laid down in the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.
