(1) The Commissioner may provide a place, with all necessary apparatus and attend ance, for the disinfection of clothing, bedding or other articles which have become infected, and in his discretion may have articles brought to such place for disinfection, disinfected on payment of such fees as he shall from time to time fix, with the approval of the Standing Committee, in this behalf or in any case in which he thinks fit, free of charge. (2) The Commissioner may, from time to time, by public notice appoint a place at which clothing, bedding or other articles which have been exposed to infection from any dangerous disease may be washed; and no person shall wash any such articles at any place not so appointed without having previously disinfected the same.
