Whenever any sum is expended by the Transport Manager under clause (c), (d) or (e) of sub-section (2) of sections 355 he shall forthwith communicate the circumstances to the Transport Committee who shall take such action under the rules or recommend to the Corporation to take such action as shall, in the circumstances, appear possible and expedient for covering the amount of the additional expenditure.
