Repeal of sections SCHEDULE 34A to 37 of the Forest Act. GUJARAT ACT NO. 14 OF 1973.1 [THE GUJARAT PRIVATE FORESTS (ACQUISITION) ACT, 1972.] [30th June, 1973.] Amended by President's Act No. 9 of 1974. Amended by Guj Act No. 6 of 1985. An Act to acquire private forests in the State of Gujarat for conserving their material resources and protecting them from destruction and over- exploitation by their owners and for promoting systematic and scientific development and management of such forests for the purpose of attaining and maintaining ecological balance in public interest. It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
