Chapter. (2) The State Security Commission shall consist of the following members namely:- (a) the Chief Minister of the State, ex-officio, who shall be the Chairperson; (b) the Minister in-charge of Home Department ex-officio; (c) the Chief Secretary to the Government of Gujarat ex-officio; (d) the Secretary to the Govermnent of Gujarat, Home Department ex-officio; (e) the Director General and Inspector General of Police, ex-officio, who shall be the Member-Secretary; and (g) two non-official members to be appointed by the State Government of persons having reputation for integrity and competence in the field of academia, law, public administration or media.
