Nothing in this Act shall be construed to prevent any person from being prosecuted and punished under and other enactment for any offence made punishable by this Act or from being coprosecuted and punished under this Act for an offence punishable under any other enactment : Provided that all such cases shall be subject to the provisions of section 403 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1898.
