If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act or any Schedule, the State Government may, as occasion requires, by order do anything which appears to it to be necessary for the purpose of removing the difficulty. 1[278 A. This Act shall apply to the Scheduled Areas of the State as referred to in clause (1) of article 244 of the Constitution of India, subject to the modifications specified in Schedule IV. 278AA.
