(1) Subject to the provisions of this Chapter, with effect on and from the date on which the Council is constituted under this Act under sub-section (8) of section 3 (hereinafter in this Chapter referred to as "the specified date")- (a) the Bombay Medical Act, 1912, as in force in the Bombay area of the State, (b) the Bombay Medical Act, 1912, as adapted and applied to the Saurashtra area of the State, and (c) the Bombay Medical Act, 1912 as applied to the Kutch area of the State, shall stand repealed.
