(1) This Act may be called the 1a[Gujarat] Lotteries (Control and Tax) and Prize Competitions (Tax) Act, 1958. (2) It extends to the whole of the 2[State of Gujarat]. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette appoint in this behalf.
