(1) This Act may be called the 3a[Gujarat] Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1953. 4[(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Gujarat.] (3) It shall come into force in such area and on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf.
