(1) No permanent member of the teaching, other academic and non-teaching staff of the University shall be terminated, dismissed or removed or reduced in rank except after an inquiry in which he has been informed of the charges against him and given a reasonable opportunity of being heard in respect of charges. (2) An appeal from an order of termination, dismissal, removal or reduction under sub-section (1) above shall be preferred to the President within ninety days from the date of the communication of such order and the decision of the President in such appeal shall be final.
