(1) No person shall put any poison, lime or noxious materials into any water with intent thereby to catch or destroy any fish therein. (2) The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, suspend the operation of sub-section (1) in any specified area and may in the like manner modify or cancel any such notification.
