No suit shall be brought in any Civil Court in respect of the exercise of any discretion conferred by this Act, or against the Court of Wards or any public servant or person duly appointed or authorised under this Act in respect of anything in good faith done or purporting to be done under the provisions thereof or the rules made thereunder : Provided that any person evicted under section 26 may sue for restitution; and Provided further that any tenant from whom an arrear of rent has been recovered under section 27 may sue for recovery of the amount, or any part thereof, 80 recovered.
