In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, - (a) “Chief Controlling Revenue Authority" means such officer, as the State Government may by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf for the whole or any part of the State of Gujarat; (b) "Collector" includes any officer authorised by the Chief Controlling Revenue Authority to perform the functions of a Collector under this Act; ____________________________________________________________________ * This Act was asserted to by the Governor on the 4th March, 2004.
