(I) The State Government may, by notification published in the Official Gazette, s-is appoint such person as it thinks fit to be Seeds Inspector and specify tbc areas within Inspector. which he shall exercise his jurisdiction. (2) The Seeds InspectOr, if he bas information that any person dealing in the trade of conon seeds has contravened any of the conditions issued by the Controller, or suspecting the quality of the cotton seeds or any person is about to commit an offence in respect of cotton seeds, he may enter in any premises for the purpose of search, and draw samples and detain or seize tbe stock of cotton seeds and records and after recehing the reports of Seeds Analysts, shall take all further actions in accordance v.ith the. p•ovisions of this Act.
