(l) The State Government shall appoint an officer to be the Chief Executive Officer of the Authority. (2) The Ch.ief Executive Officer shall be the administrative officer of the Authority and in addition to perform such functions as are conferred on him by or under this Act or untler any law for the time being in force, he shaii- (a) {b) .. (c) {d) be responsible for alf budgetary, planning, enforcement and supervisory functions of the Authority ; furnish to the Authority all the information relating to the administration and accounts of t.ie Authority as well as other matter whenever called upon by the Authority to do so; prepare and submit the Annual Report and audited accounts of the Authority for its approval within three months of the close of every financial year and submit copies of the same to the State Guvemment; I perfonn such other function as may be prescribed.
