(1) The Academic and Research Council of the University shall consist of the following members, namely:- Constitution of Academic and Research Council, its powers and duties. (i) the Director of the University, who shall be the Chairman; (ii) the Deans; (iii) the Heads of Departments of all post-graduate programmes; 1[(iv) one expert academician from each faculty of the University, to be nominated by the Board; (v) one expert professional from each faculty, to be nominated by the Executive Council.] (2) The Registrar shall be the non-member Secretary of the Council. (3) The term of office of the members shall be for a period of three years.
