(l) The Registrar shall be a whole time salaried officer of the Rogistm·. University and shall act as a Secretary of the Board, the Executive Council and the Academic Council. (2) The Registrar shall be appointed by the State Government on recommendation of lhc Uni vcrsity in accordance with the Statutes to be made in this behalf, and his emoluments and conditions of service shall be such as may be prescribed by the Statutes. (3) The Registrar shall be responsible for U1e due custody of the University records, the common seal and such other properties and assets of the University as the executive council shall commit to his charge. ( 4) The Registrar shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be prescribed by tl1e Statutes, Ordinances, rules and regulations.
