(3)The University shall be a bod)' corporate by the name as aforesaid, having perpetual succession and common seal with power, subject to the provisions of this Act, to acquire and hold and dispose of propert)', to contract and shall, by the said name sue or be sued. EX. 08-10-2018 (4) In all suits and othel' legal prnceedings by or against the University, the pleadings shall be signed and verified by the Registrar and all processes in such suits and proceedi11gs shall be issued lo, and be served on, the Registrar. (5) The University shall be competent to raise loans on the securities of its assets and to contract and do all other things necessary for the purposes of this Act: Prnvided that the, power to raise any such loan shall be exercised afte1· obtaining the previous permission of the State Government. 17-3
