Section 6 shall be renumbered as sub-section (1) of that section and after sub-section (1) so renumbered the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely:- "(2) The Court of Small Causes of Ahmedabad shall be deemed to be a court subject to the superintendence of the High Court of Gujarat and to be a Court subordinate to that High Court within the meaning of section 6 of the Legal Practitioners Act, 1879, and that High Court shall have in respect of the Small Cause Court of Ahmedabad the same powers as it has in respect of the courts subject to its appellate jurisdiction.".
