(1) Statutes may be made by the Board and may be amended, repealed or added to by Statutes made by the Board in the manner hereinafter provided. (2) The Board may take into consideration the draft of a Statute. (3) Where a Statute affects the powers or duties of any officer or authority of the University, the Board shall, before passing such Statute, ascertain and consider the views of the officer or the authority concerned and take the same into consideration. (4) Every Statute passed by the Board shall be submitted to the Chancellor who may give or withhold his assent thereto or refer it back to the Board for consideration.
