44 44 (2) The Board may remove any person from membership of any authority or body of the University on the ground that such member has been convicted by a court of law of an offence, which, in the opinion of the Board, involves moral turpitude: Provided that no order for removal of such person shall be made without giving him an opportunity of being heard. (3) Subject to the provisions of sub-section (2), a person, who is a member of any authority or body of the University as a representative of another body, whether of the University or not, shall retain his seat on the University authority or body so long as he continues to be a member of the body by which he was appointed and thereafter till his successor is duly appointed.
