(1) Every market committee shall pay to the Board as contribution an amount equal to such percentage of its income as may be prescribed from time to time by the State Government. (2) The State Government may, every year, make payment to the Board, by way of contribution or grants of an amount not less than five percent of the aggre- gate amount contributed to the Board by the market committees under sub-section (1). (3) The contribution or payment received by the Board under sub-section (1) and sub-section (2) shall be credited to the Development Fund.
