(1) On the commencement or this Act,- (a) the Bombay Agricultural Pests and Diseases Act, 1947, and (b) the Gujarat Agricultural Pests and Diseases Ordinance, 1980, shall stand repealed : Provided that anything done or any action taken under the provisions of the Act so repealed shall, so far as it is not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act continue in force and be deemed 10 have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act unless and until it is superseded by any-thing done or any action taken under the provisions of this Act.
