A casual vacancy in the office of a nominated member occurring on account of death, resignation or 7[disqualification] of the number shall be filled up, as soon as may be, by nomination of a person by the Bar Council under clause (e) of sub-section (1) of section 5 and the person so nominated shall hold office so long as the member in whose place he is nominated would have been entitled to hold office, if the vacancy had not occurred.
