Section 67

Withdrawal of scheme

Withdrawal of scheme.— (1) If at any time before a draft scheme, with the modifications is submitted to the Government under section 68, a representation is made to the Planning and Development Authority by a majority of the owners in the area that the scheme should be withdrawn, the Planning and Development Authority shall forward such representations together with its comments, if any, to the Government. (2) After making such inquiry as it may think fit, the Government may, by notification, direct that the scheme shall be withdrawn; and upon such withdrawal, no further proceedings shall be taken in regard to such scheme. ---39---
