Concealment of assets of the inheritance by the head of the family or heir.— (1) The moiety holder or heir who fraudulently conceals assets of the inheritance, whether as head of the family or not, forfeits in favour of the heirs or co-heirs, as the case may be, the right he may have to the concealed assets. (2) The person who conceals assets is deemed to be merely in custody of those assets and the Court may order him that they be handed over to the head of the family.
