Section 205

Duty of authorities

Duty of authorities.— An administrative authority which comes to know that a person is preventing another from making a will is duty bound to go promptly to the house of the person so prevented with a Special Notary and two witnesses. Upon verifying that the information is true, set the said person free to make a will and he shall also cause a report to be written and forwarded to the Assistant Public Prosecutors/Public Prosecutor. A person who prevents another from making a will shall be liable to be prosecuted.
