Quasi pupillary substitution.— (1) The provisions of section 176 shall be applicable, irrespective of the age, when the child or other descendant is of unsound mind provided he is so declared by the court. This is called quasi pupillary substitution. (2) Such substitution shall become ineffective if such unsoundness of mind ceases. ---29---
